Great Turnout for ‘The Long Walk’

We had a great turnout and discussion for Stephen King’s, The Long Walk.  This book is one of King’s earliest novels which he wrote under the pseudonym, Richard Bachmann.

Students seemed to enjoy the book although the story is dark and pessimistic.  I took a few pictures which are in an album titled REAL MEN READ 2012.

We also enjoyed a visit from local author, Steven Janke.  He talked about the story behind the story of his book, The Kykuit Bunker.  Mr. Janke handed out copies of his book and has agreed to come back for a visit in May for our discussion.  We had a fun gathering and we’re looking forward to our May discussion of The Kykuit Bunker by Steven Janke.
