We had a nice turn-out for our RMR book talk concerning Peak, by Roland Smith. Everyone really enjoyed the book, the conversation, and the free breakfast:-)
Several students mentioned that they were slightly disappointed with Peak’s decision not to finish his climb to the summit of Mount Everest which was certainly in his view. Also, a good discussion about Peak’s father and his ‘using’ of Peak to advance his own ambitions. Thanks again students for the interesting talk.
I’ll select our next book very soon and will post and announce the title within the next couple days. Why? Because, REAL MEN READ!
